The information shown in the red callout box on the bottom right indicates how to utilize the U.S. National Grid in a postal address. The first alphanumeric group 19T is the Grid Zone Designation (GZD).  Next, the letters CJ designates the 100-kilometer square within 19T.  Finally, the last two groups of four digits each shows with a 10-meter precision the exact location of the point.

Thus, let us start at the origin of the 19T CJ square, which is its westernmost and southernmost point.  With respect to that point of origin, the entrance to Bailey Hall is 83.25 km to the east, and 37.43 km to the north.
