Below I have listed several of the most important vexillological organizations in the English-speaking world, and in the world as a whole. The Fédération internationale des associations vexillologiques, whose official languages are English, French, German, and Spanish, is an international federation of vexillological associations. The North American Vexillological Association, of which I am a member, represents Canada and the United States. Flags of the World is an exhaustive online source of flag information. The Flag Insitute is based in London. Out of respect to my wife's Croatian descent, I have also listed the Zagreb-based Croatian Heraldic and Vexillologic Association, which hosts an excellent and interesting website. Finally, I have made a link to an article — sent to me by an unsolicited reader of my website — on African vexillology.
